Los Jilgueros is a nature preserve
The Los Jilgueros Nature Preserve is a 46-acre park located in Fallbrook, California. The property was purchased in 1990 by the Los Jilgueros Ranch Conservancy, and the property is managed by volunteers. The Preserve also has a Firesafe Garden, where one can see 100 species of drought-tolerant and fire-retardant plants. The hike features a return loop through a small forested area, then opens up into sunny terrain. There’s also a lower trail through a meadow. The preserve is gated and fenced and is open to the public between 6:30 a.m. and dusk.

Live Oak County Park
