The Mississippi Children’s Museum
The Mississippi Children’s Museum is a great place to take children. It has several locations in the state, including locations in Meridian, Mississippi, and Jackson, Mississippi. Its Jackson location is part of the LeFleur’s Bluff Education and Tourism Complex. The Meridian location opened in 2010.

The planetarium is the state’s only public planetarium, and the new design will have a grand atrium.
Visitors to Byram can also check out the nearby Battlefield Park, COFO Civil Rights Education Center, and H.T. Sampson Library. Other attractions worth mentioning include the Russell C Davis Planetarium, the Jackson Convention Complex, and the Alamo Theater.
